Art's Not Dead - The Movie

On Wednesday 1st December 2010 Art played his farewell show at Mercury Live. The events surrounding the lead up to this show, including the gig itself, were documented for "Art's Not Dead". This includes interviews with musicians who have played in bands with Art, backstage footage and the live recording of the performances by Coal, Andy Lund, V.O.L and Three More White Guys.

HWR at ROAR

Heroes Wear Red continue their mini tour of Cape Town tonight, playing at ROAR with:

Heroes Wear Red at The Grand Daddy

Tonight Heroes Wear Red are performing their acoustic set at The Grand Daddy Hotel in Long Street, Cape Town. This event is being recorded and will be released online in February. Come through after work for 6pm.

HWR are down from Johannesburg for a mini tour and will also be performing at ROAR on Friday night, with a host of other bands for a free show. Don't miss out.

The Sleepers Acoustic

The Sleepers played acoustic for the last time with Simon on Tuesday 18th January. Their next show is on the 2nd February with 7 Year Kismet at Zula. Following that, their final show with Simon is at Ramfest.

Art's Farewell

Artur Pereira is a familiar face to many, he has played in bands too numerous to mention, as both full time drummer and fill-in.

Tonight he hosts his farewell / retirement party at Mercury Live, on the stage tonight are Coal, Andy Lund & The Mission Men, V.O.L and Three More White Guys.
